Introducing The Cause Blog

When I was a child, my mother would take me along for her Meals on Wheels visits. She later told me the senior citizens looked forward to holding me just as much as receiving their delicious meals. I guess you could say I was born into volunteerism. Throughout my teens and twenties I continued a life of volunteerism, and there was never any debate about a career in nonprofit work.

For nearly 20 years, I have worked with nonprofit organizations, associations and community organizations, such as the American Cancer Society, Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta and the American College of Rheumatology. No matter what the cause, I’ve seen a common thread – these organizations have some of the most amazing stories; I love to hear them, help shape them and collaborate to share them – all to ensure brand awareness, mission delivery and fundraising goals are met.

The Cause Blog is a space where we can share ideas, talk and identify strategic solutions to help you meet your mission. I’m looking forward to the journey and the conversations!
